| I have built up a small collection of drawings of lute and early guitar
roses that I use on my instruments. They were drawn using CAD software and are
'idealised' or cleaned-up versions of the originals. They are not supposed to be
representations of the current state of the rose in question, such as a museum
would require. They are intended for makers to use as patterns for applying to
the inside of the soundboard prior to cutting the rose. Below you will find 3 downloadable examples in .wmf format. The rest of the roses drawings are available to order as priced below. They are available as inkjet plots onto acetate (for dimensional stability) or as .dxf / .wmf files on disk. The Drawings are arranged in 3 sets.
